Charles S. Jones, Managing General Partner and Founder
Prior to founding Bedford Funding in October, 2006, Mr. Jones, business strategist, enjoyed a long career at First Funding, a boutique investment bank in Stamford, Connecticut. At First Funding, Mr. Jones completed over 60 M&A and corporate financing transactions, including experience as a leverage buyout principal and leading a global roll-up of the public relations industry, as well as a growth equity investor in the technology sector. Beginning in November, 2000, Mr. Jones served as Chairman and then Chief Executive Officer of Geac Computer Corp. Ltd. of Markham Ontario until the Company was sold in March 2006. Mr. Jones received his undergraduate education from Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania and continues his education as a Wharton Fellow. He completed a Marketing Certificate Program at Kellogg Business School.
